Join preeminent writer and scholar Fred Moten as he responds to Chris Ofili’s work and the exhibition “Chris Ofili: Night and Day.” Working at the intersection of black studies, performance, poetry, and critical studies, Moten has written extensively on the aesthetics of the radical black tradition and, with his friend Stefano Harney, on the idea of an undercommons. From these vantage points, and with his own attentive aurality, Moten will critically consider Ofili’s work through the various stages of the artist’s career.
